Acupressure Points to Relieve Asthma

Use these simple acupressure points to relieve yourself from asthma. If your child is facing this problem try to press these pressure points to relieve them from Asthma.
Collar Bone Pressure Point:
You will find this pressure point on the outer side of the chest. Three finger widths below the collar bone is this point to relieve asthma. This point is marked as B in the picture given. Press this point with the help of your index and middle fingers for 3 to 4 minutes. Doing this regularly will help to relieve chest congestion, tension, emotional distress and breathing difficulties.
Breast Bone Pressure Point:
You will find this pressure point in the hollow under the collar bone beside the breast bone. This point is marked as A in the above picture. Place your index and middle fingers on these points and apply pressure for 5 minutes simultaneously. You can also massage this area with circular movements. This point will help to relieve chest congestion, asthma, breathing difficulties, anxiety and coughing. This is a very effective pressure point to relieve asthma related problems.
Shoulder Pressure Point:
One finger width below the tip of your shoulder blade is the shoulder pressure point. You will find this pressure point between the scapula and spine. This point is marked as C in the given picture. This pressure point will help to relieve sneezing, asthma, coughing and severe muscle pains in the neck and shoulder. Place your index and middle fingers on this pressure point. Apply force on this point and rotate slightly. Follow the same procedure for 3 minutes. You will be able to free yourself from the problems caused by asthma in a few weeks.
Base of the Thumb Pressure Point:
Near the base of the thumb you will find a fleshy area in the centre of which you need to place your other thumb. You will find an area which is very sore in this fleshy part. You need to hold this point for 5 minutes by applying slight pressure. Do this regularly to relieve you from coughing, swollen throat and shallow breathing.
Wrist Pressure Point:
This pressure point can be found on the wrist below the base of the thumb. You will find a small groove in this area which will relieve you from asthma, coughing and lung problems. Place your thumb on this pressure point and hold it for 3 to 4 minutes. Release slowly and access the same point on the other hand. Do this regularly to experience relief from asthma.
Throat Pressure Point:
You will find this pressure point in the indention under the Adam’s apple. Place your index or middle finger on this point and press it slightly. Hold on to this point for 5 minutes to experience comfortable breathing. You need to this regularly thrice a day. You will notice a great change after two weeks.
Index Finger Joint Pressure Point:
You will find this pressure point in the outer side of your index finger which is diagonal to the base of the thumb. You will find a sore point in this area. When you find it place your thumb on it and apply slight pressure for 2 to 3 minutes. Repeat the same on the other hand as well.
Ring Finger Joint Pressure Point:
Near the ring finger joint you will find a hollow. Move your thumb up and down in this hollow area. Whichever point seems to be sore work on it for 2 minutes. After this short massage work on the other hand. Do this regularly to help relieve you from asthma.
Any severe condition of asthma needs to be treated by the Doctor. It is also better to consult your Doctor before accessing these pressure points. The above pressure points will help to reduce asthma. Parents need to take very good care of your children who are affected by asthma. Do not forget to use your medication while you treat yourself with these pressure points. You need to avoid cigarette smoking to prevent asthma. Cigarette smoking is the main cause for severe asthma. Also by smoking around people you will be putting their lives into risk of asthma as well.
